Who We Are

Cantium was established in 2016 as a full-service oil and gas operator with the sole focus of acquiring Chevron’s Bay Marchand and Main Pass fields, two of the largest fields ever developed offshore Gulf of Mexico.

Drawing from service and oil company experience, our lean headcount and flat organizational structure promote efficient collaboration between departments and streamline decision making.  This effective structure allows Cantium to quickly realize operating efficiencies on our assets as well as identify and exploit growth opportunities. 

Our highly competent staff, experienced management team, and cutting-edge software platforms give us the tools necessary to successfully accomplish our core business plan: be disciplined and opportunistic in our capital deployment strategy, institute operational best practices to optimize costs and production, add incremental recoverable reserves, and extend the economic life of our properties.
